1. What is 1-800-Call-Dex?
   
   1-800-Call-Dex is a new voice activated search engine that allows mobile searches of the Dex database when DexKnows.com and Dex directories are unavailable.
   
   
   
2. Is there a cost for calling 1-800-Call-Dex?
   
   No, calling this new service is free, as is directly connecting to merchants. Dex does not apply any charges whatsoever, regardless of how many calls you make, the time of day you call or the day of the week. However, depending on your service provider and rate package, normal phone charges may apply such as airtime, roaming, text messaging, etc.
   
   
   
3. Does 1-800-Call-Dex work in all areas?
   
   Yes, every city, in Dex's 14 state coverage area can be searched bu 1-800-Call-Dex. These states are: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota.
   
   
   
4. How does it work?
   
   Simply call 1-800-Call-Dex (1-800-225-5339) from a home phone, work phone, cell phone or a mobile device to begin the process. The service will ask if you wish to search by Business Name or Business Type in which city and state. You can then tell the system how you would like to search: in a neighborhood, by a landmark, near an intersection or anywhere in that city. Dex will then return a list of merchants in or near the area you are searching. You can then hear their phone number, address, receive an SMS with their contact information, or choose to connect.
   
   
   
5. Are residential listings available as well as business listings?
   
   No, only business listings are available on 1-800-Call-Dex.
   
   
   
6. Can I call from anywhere?
   
   Yes, 1-800-Call-Dex can be used from anywhere in the US, from a work phone, home phone, cell phone or mobile device. We can help you find any merchant in any city in the 14 states mentioned in #3 above.
   
   
   
7. Is 1-800-Call-Dex available in any other language at this time?
   
   Not at this time.
   
   
   
8. Is the call recorded? If so, what is Dex doing with the information?
   
   Yes, each call is recorded and used to improve the speed and completeness of the service. Due to privacy laws, we cannot sell any part of this database to any third party.
   
   
   
9. Can I advertise on 1-800-Call-Dex?
   
   Yes, this is a perfect opportunity for any merchant to reach motivated and geographically relevant customers. These customers are actively looking for your products and services.
